1. Minimum N3 with Electrical Trade Test

2. Have a minimum of 5 years’ technical experience in an automotive manufacturing environment

3. Excellent working knowledge of PLC’s (programming / fault finding / commissioning / maintenance)

4. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

5. Ability to build and repair electronic circuits / small jig panels

6. Working knowledge of CO2 welding

7. Computer literate (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

8. Good problem solving and analytical skills



Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Ensuring that electrical equipment and machinery repairs are done according to Scheduled Maintenance Reports

2. Conducting fault-finding and repair of jigs, fixtures and robotic equipment / PLC’S

3. Assist with electrical breakdowns, callouts and implementation of changes /optimisation in the Plant
