A Global citrus exporter is looking for an experienced Farm Manager to join their team.Must be willing to live in Addo. Housing is provided. Requirements:
- Agricultural degree/diploma would be advantageous
- 5+ years farm management experience
- Citrus farming experience is a MUST
- Computer Literate
- Valid Drivers Licence
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the entire farm operation
- Staff management (50 permanent, 50 for spray season and 400 seasonal staff)
- Effective workforce management, coordination and development
- Management of diseases and pests
- Water management and pruning of trees
- Establish new orchards
- Maintain records and documentation
- Practical maintenance
- Audits
- Quality control
- Cost management
