MINIMUM SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Minimum of 6 months retail experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and management
- Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent customer service
- High level of energy with strong customer service skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cooking Responsibilities:
- Preparing food and cooking of meat on the grill outside the store
- Plating food and making it look attractive to customers
- Preparing ingredients (this will take place before the store opens and continues throughout the day)
- Maintain a clean workstation, always wear gloves and make sure customers stay healthy
- Ensure the correct uniform and badge are always worn
- Adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures, SOPs and health and safety rules and regulations
- Any ad-hoc (other) duties and responsibilities as and when required in other areas in the store
Taster Responsibilites:
- Sharing knowledge of Company products
- Ensure the tasting station is clean, neat and presentable
- Communicate with customers – selling and influencing customer to buy products
- Ensure testing station is clean and all Health and Safety measures are adhered to.
