Our client, a telecoms giant based in Midrand, is currently recruiting a Payments and Reconciliations Consultant to join their team on a 12-month assignment.

About The Employer:
Some of your main duties will include business reconciliations or the payments and VAS business related to bank accounts, debtors, creditors, VAT and tax accounts as well as ensuring that that invoicing, payments, refunds, chargebacks are correct and the allocation thereof is correct in the accounting records.
You will also work closely with business to ensure that business requirements are implemented and accounted for correctly in both Payment gateway systems. It will also be expected of you to partner with financial services and any other FinOps departments (e.g. TCM, terminals, credit and risk, IFRS team) in VSA to ensure that VSA and company policies as well as internal audit requirements are followed and where applicable policies implemented in the specific business unit.
You will be required to assist with projects to implement RPA (Robotic Process Automation) on all processes involved in to ensure optimal efficiency.
