JOB PURPOSE
- To perform internal audits by planning, conducting fieldwork, documenting the results and compiling a report.
- To liaise with management regarding the audit and the audit report.
- To ensure professional and effective service delivery to internal audit clients.
- To conduct special investigations as and when required.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- To ensure audit technical excellence – adhere to documentation standards, proper identification of audit issues and root causes and transcribing this into an audit report.
- To ensure effective time management – complete audits on time.
- To ensure professional conduct at all times.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Education
- B Com Internal Audit, B Com Accounting Sciences or B Tech Internal Audit
- 1 – 2 years internal audit experience
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
- Computer literacy – minimum requirement MS Office
- Adequate knowledge of the audit process
- Ability to identify and document risks and controls
- Ability to compile an audit program to address the risks identified
- Ability to identify audit issues, root causes and transcribe this into a well written report
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work alone or in a team
- Be able to liaise with management regarding audit findings

- Fluent in English (Write and speak) and be able to communicate in Afrikaans
- Valid driver’s license for at least five years
60% to 80% out of town work commitments
