Meeting of New Business targets for the group by Identifying clients and a suitable solution for them from the Value basket of services with a focus on break bulk and warehousing services. Articulate these solutions in a professional way both verbally and in written format.

Rendering a high quality of customer service/relationship building during the sales cycle meeting customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. Maximize sales potential, crafting sales plans, solutions and tender responses.

Operational:

  • Achieving sales targets, performance plans and rigorous objective standards with the team. 3 Million year one target 10 Million per year thereafter.
  • Analyze sales data on sales and develop sales strategy to land accounts.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure a strong presence.
  • Generate Tenders and tender responses including the management thereof with all departments.
  • Generate Power Point and word presentations.
  • Coordinating with Marketing on lead generation.
  • Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Recommending changes in products, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Provide expertise when setting and adjusting pricing plans and discount rates.
  • Present sales and revenue reports and realistic forecasts to division management.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports and monthly pipeline reports.
  • Be an ambassador of the company to clients by knowing the company culture and values and adhering to the company rules and regulations.
  • Assist in relevant operations/operational functions as required.
  • Maintain professional conduct.
  • Ensure dress code is in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards on a daily basis.
  • Ensure standards of Health and Safety are maintained.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric.
  • 5 – 10 years related sales experience.
  • Excellent communication ability.
  • Proven track record related to sales achieved for the last 12 months.
  • Must be professional at all times.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Ability to work independently and have good interpersonal skills to work with customers, management and the sales team.
  • Knowledge of the Supply Chain Industry and experience communicating with people at executive level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
  • Cold calling ability and qualifying of calls.
