Update drivers call centre, C-tracking control, Transport Debriefing, allocation and debriefing of branch collections as well as all Transport checks and reports (vehicle services, accident investigations, etc).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that any problems arising between the customers and drivers are resolved timeously (call drivers hourly).
  • Ensure that all the deliveries of the day are completed.
  • Complete all necessary reports on Freightware.
  • Log in driver complaints via My Business (driver call center).
  • Issue reference numbers to drivers with regards to problem deliveries and collections.
  • Ensure that security requirements and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Assist in relevant operations/operational functions as required.
  • Maintain professional conduct.
  • Ensure standards of Health and Safety are maintained.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards on a daily basis.
  • Debriefingand allocation of branch collections.
  • Debriefing of vehicles daily and auctioning / investigating vehicle accidents / incidents.
  • Monitor vehicle services and ensure booked into workshop on time.
  • Driver and crew allocation – ensure 9 hour rest interval adhered to.
  • Assist with POD debriefing when required.
  • Assist Hub on nightshift when required (oversee operations and lock up), ie be prepared to work nightshift.
  • Assist with PEP Transport debriefing when required (offsite).
  • Assist in any other department from time to time as instructed by your supervisor.
  • Ensure driver and crew discipline is enforced (IR matters).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric required.
  • 3year relevant experience.
