Minimum Requirements
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering Diploma (non-negotiable)
- Registerable as a Professional Engineering Technician (non-negotiable)
- 10 years railway signal maintenance experience
- 3-5 years management experience
- Effective self -management with a sense of initiative, accountability, and responsibility
- Prior experience working within a Safety Critical environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
Responsibilities
- Exercise leadership and supervision of personnel and activities related to Signalling, Radio and Communication maintenance in terms of training, safety regulations and safe work procedures.
- Establish a maintenance plan taking into account internal and outsourced resources
- Ensure execution of preventative and corrective maintenance in a timely manner to meet all performance targets
- Ensure proper incident management
- Ensure effective management of the Signalling and Radio network Sub Contractors
- Compile and manage Signalling, Radio and Communication Budget
Contractual Information
- Valid Drivers License
- Willing to be on 24/7 Standby
- Willing to undergo Medical Testing
