Looking for someone that can work independent and take (Prudent) initiative.

  1. Person needs strong stakeholder management skills and be able to safely & responsibly manage upwards to at least 2 managers.
  2. Managed budgets of more than R15 million. (Excellent financial skills, e.g. being able to unpack the actuals vs expenditure.)
  3. Highly proficient in taking minutes.
  4. Some Agile experience with Jira & Confluence skills are desirable.
  5. Need to be able to multitask and switch between different assignments easily, as priorities change.
  6. Looking for highly energetic, committed and excellent with people.
  7. Role:
  • 80% Project Administration (Primary Focus)
  • 20% Project Coordinator and/or Scrum Master

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record of working in a project environment as a Project Co-Ordinator
  • Knowledge of Project governance and project lifecycle requirements.
  • Previous experience supporting project activities (Resource Planning, Budget Management, Project Planning)
  • Senior Programme Coordinator with 6-10 years’ experience working in Financial Services (prefer Insurance)
  • Programme Coordinator experience and qualifications
  • Scrum Master and/or Junior PM experience and skills
  • Sound understanding of system development life-cycle
  • Agile training and experience working in Scrum or Kanban framework (2 or more years)
  • Strong interpersonal skills; attention to detail; strong financial/budgeting skills

Essential hardware/software knowledge:

  • Tool knowledge and experience: JIRA, Confluence, PPO (2 years or more experience using these tools)
  • Agile formal training essential & must have worked 2 or more years within an Agile environment, and also must have used the Agile methodology and tools.
