Field Services Engineer in Middleburg in the mining industry. The role reports to the Branch Manager.
The role:
- Responsible for Service Centre budgets
- Improve the field services to meet Group standards
- Actively seek and bring in new business to the field services
- Maintain quality and standards within the field
- Promote and market maintenance plans (Repair & Return, Service exchange and Service Contracts)
- Offer new products and value adding solutions to contracts
- Provide technical support to both internal and external customers
- Optimize and set up programs to improve equipment effectiveness
- Manage the field services staff
- Spares forecasting
- Effective usage of CRM system
- Adhere to and ensure relevant SOP’s and work instructions are adhered to
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/ National Diploma (Mechanical / Process Engineering)
- Valid Driver’s license
- 5 – 8 years related experience in a mining / manufacturing environment
- Mining experience will be advantageous
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret technical journals
