Deployment Lead/ Junior Project Manager – Johannesburg, South Africa – Market rates
My client based in Johannesburg, South Africa, is looking for a Regional Deployment Lead/ Junior Project Manager to join the team on a contract basis until Mid 2022. The successful candidate will support the Project Manager to design, implement and coordinate all user deployment activities for the global program. The Deployment Lead will have strong experience in planning, preparing and delivering complex IT and Business Change deployments.
The Deployment Lead/ Junior Project Manager will have:
- Successfully delivered global software deployment projects in a Deployment Lead or Project Manager role.
- Have experience of planning and delivering large scale global deployments within a technology environment, including hypercare activities.
- Have experience of working on large scale complex projects or programmes, preferable in release, within deployment and/or change management roles.
- Understands cloud-based SAAS solutions
- Ideally have knowledge and experience of Document Management Systems
- Have the flexibility to meet the demands of operating within a global team in a variety of time zones
- Strong organisational and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management and client facing abilities
- Have experience in successfully managing 2 successful global deployment
- Prince2, PMP or Change Management Practitioner certifications highly desirable
Successful candidate will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa and have the right to work in South Africa.
