[PROJECT ENGINEER – MCWAP (Mokolo Crocodile Water Augmentation Project)]
The purpose of this position is, but not limited to, ensure:
- Execution of the project engineering function in accordance with the organisation’s project implementation methodology
- Manage the engineering deliverables within the project objectives.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The key performance areas of the role in focus, are:
- Participate in the procurement of professional services and construction’ contracts
- Responsible for the management of engineering function in the professional services and construction contracts
- Input management of engineering aspects and integration of other related disciplines
- Management of project engineering risks within the EPWR framework
- Maintain and develop internal and external liaison
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- BSc/ B Engineering
- Professional registration with ECSA
- 7 years’ experience in implementation of large-scale bulk raw water engineering project
- 3 years must be at supervisory level and have included the management of associated contracts and budgets
