We are looking for an Experienced Creditors Manager that has a proven track record of managing an a team and working in a fast moving enviroment with constant change.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure policies and procedures and internal controls are adhered to
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Accounts Payable department; deal decisively with queries and various scenarios as they arise
- Troubleshooting and providing guidance where needed ensuring the effective performance of the Accounts Payable Department
- Ensure timeous reconciliation of Creditors Accounts to Supplier Statements
- Review and validate Supplier Invoices
- Check for accuracy of cost allocations
- Assist Auditors and address queries
- Perform payment runs
- Do cashflow projections
- Checks and balances to ensure all Creditors Control Measures are adhered to through the procurement to payment process
- Liaise with suppliers to address queries
- Previous experience on Pastel Evolution.
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to deal with a pressurized environment
- MS Word and Excel
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 to 10 years solid creditors experience
- Must currently be in a supervisory role (at least 2 direct reports)
- Advanced Excel skills is a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accurate & attention to details
- Deadline orientated
- Must be able to handle pressure
- Strong work ethic
- Qualifications: National Diploma/B Comm Accounting, Bookkeeping qualification.
