The main responsibility of the role is to identify and acquire new Major/Corporate potential clients and business opportunities for Managed Document Services.
The role is responsible for the successful execution of the sales methodology targeting the top 500 companies in South Africa and management of the relationship with particular customers.

  1. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  2. Professionally and effectively employs sales methodology skills to achieve targets
  3. Increase the level of revenue and business mix from individual clients
  4. Increase share of each target market (vertical market strategy)
  5. Conduct ongoing research and Database management on FOCUS CRM
  6. Maintain an accurate and current database on System
  7. Identify and develop sources of potential clients
  8. Effectively communicate with clients to gain commitment to purchase
  9. Maintain regular contact with Key Clients and update records accordingly
  10. Develop and maintain relationships which benefit both client and the company
  11. Overcome client resistance/objections to products
  12. Advise Manager and Sales and Marketing of client feedback/comments relating to product content and pricing as well as company performance
  13. Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities to achieve target.
  14. Achieve sales activities within specified time scales as directed by Manager
  15. Demonstrate a full knowledge of all products, relevant selling points and benefits and so doing, match appropriate products to clients’ requirements
  16. Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products, be able to highlight their disadvantages and promote relevant benefits
  17. Keep abreast of competitor activity and recommend any necessary tactical action
  18. Provide time-phased, qualified reports on achievement and activities
  19. Liaise with other members of Business Development Team to actively promote sales opportunities, exchange information and increase professionalism
  20. Obtain necessary authority for expenses and record same in line with Company Policy
  21. Undertake any reasonable duties as specified by Manager

– Weekly / Monthly management reporting

Adhoc
– Ability to travel up to 50%2.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Education
– Matric
– Business related Diploma essential
– Business Degree an added advantage

Experience
– At least 3 years experience in the Office Automation or IT industry essential
– At least 3 years experience in Sales, Marketing and Business Development
– Experience in working with corporate business
– Experience in working with Senior Management to align sales strategies and solutions
– Experience in business process management.
– Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles

Knowledge and Skills
– Computer literate (MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel MS Powerpoint – intermediate level))
