Our client, a leader in their industry, is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team.
Duties include:
- Collecting, compiling and entering payroll data into the SAGE People 300 system
- Loading new employees, terminations and staff movements
- Managing and controlling payroll documents between regions
- Preparing monthly reports
- Month end 3rd party reconciliations and payments
- Receiving, processing and resolving incoming queries from employees and management
- Administering ESS (Employee Self Service)
- Having an understanding and knowledge of Cost to Company structures
- Having an understanding and knowledge of the BCEA and various Acts governing payroll
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the full payroll function along with evidence of any relevant payroll certification and courses completed
- Experience on SAGE People 300 is an added advantage
- Full Payroll qualification is an added advantage
- Experience in MS Word & MS Excel
- Must be numerate and analytical
- Must have the ability to work under pressure
- Must be positive, confident, self-motivated and able to work alone and as a member of a team
- Must have attention to detail and be dead-line driven
- Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must have good communication skills
