Our client, a leader in their industry, is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team.

Duties include:

  • Collecting, compiling and entering payroll data into the SAGE People 300 system
  • Loading new employees, terminations and staff movements
  • Managing and controlling payroll documents between regions
  • Preparing monthly reports
  • Month end 3rd party reconciliations and payments
  • Receiving, processing and resolving incoming queries from employees and management
  • Administering ESS (Employee Self Service)
  • Having an understanding and knowledge of Cost to Company structures
  • Having an understanding and knowledge of the BCEA and various Acts governing payroll

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the full payroll function along with evidence of any relevant payroll certification and courses completed
  • Experience on SAGE People 300 is an added advantage
  • Full Payroll qualification is an added advantage
  • Experience in MS Word & MS Excel
  • Must be numerate and analytical
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure
  • Must be positive, confident, self-motivated and able to work alone and as a member of a team
  • Must have attention to detail and be dead-line driven
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must have good communication skills
