MAIN PURPOSE:
- To ensure that the stores are managed and targets are met.
- To manage and mentor merchandisers in your area.
- Meeting customer expectations in all your stores.
- Increasing sales and growing the customer base.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage your allocated stores and ensure targets are met by placing orders for required stock within set stock cover parameters.
- Ensure that merchandising standards are met, planograms are followed and products are well represented. Deliver products to store when required. Maintain allocated store space with pre-approved drops and fixtures.
- Adhere to route lists and communicate any issues in store to your manager.
- Achieve budget as set by head office.
- Provide daily feedback on stores visited.
- Build and develop a good relationship with store staff.
- Sale or Return after occasions and on everyday to be executed according to timelines. A schedule to be kept.
- Ensure occasion implementations, store revamps, new stores and special projects are executed timeously.
- Maximise sales and minimise credits.
- Assist the Sylkard Manager & sales teams when required.
- Manage, mentor and train the merchandisers in your area if applicable.
- A schedule of all equipment must be kept up to date.
REQUIREMENTS:
FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12
KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE
- 2 years minimum experience as a rep in retail stores, gifting and stationery category experience.
