Senior Project Coordinator (Parvana)

About the Client:

Responsibilities:

  • Serving as the primary representative on site and coordinating teams.
  • Administration and distribution of weekly site meeting minutes and reports.
  • Ensuring all deadlines / commitments are executed.
  • Running / coordinating key professional meetings.
  • Programme systemisation and process development.
  • Contributing to the risk analysis of project critical paths.
  • Monthly project reporting on construction programme.
  • Informing the Team of any programmatic changes and updates.
  • Managing with the pre-launch of new developments.
  • Ongoing contribution to managing the cost of design.
  • Monthly project reporting on project budget.
  • Ongoing budget performance and risk management.
  • Cost systemization and process development.
  • Cash flow forecasting and submitting any costs for bi-monthly cash flows.
  • Conducting weekly site visits and managing product quality on site.
  • Managing product quality on site and advising / recommend changes.
  • Assist in building snag rectification and coordination after handover and transfer.
  • Maintaining and administering systems and processes regarding snagging.
  • Administer project insurance, wayleaves and permits.
  • Ensuring that occupancy for the building is granted timeously.
  • Gathering building handover documentation.
  • Maintaining building acts, regulations and standards.
  • Monthly project / snag reports.
  • Contributing to the shareholder report.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Studies, Engineering or Similar

Skills / Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience, with knowledge of the development cycle a plus.
  • Direct communicator with good written and spoken English communication skills, additional local languages a plus.
  • Strong computer literacy – Competent in Excel, MS Office Suit, Teams and the ability to learn new systems (SnagR, MS Projects, etc.).
  • Must have a proactive approach and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Demonstrate good time management and teamwork.
  • The ability to perform and self-manage in a dynamic and fast paced work environment.
  • Strong reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage different project life cycles simultaneously.
