Our Client, within the financial sector seeks to appoint a dynamic Programme Co-ordinator to join their team based in Durban. The successful, candidate will be required to manage and coordinate, Enterprise and Supplier Development, community development and external skills development programmes. In addition, to support and monitor performance on any programmes or initiatives that form part of the organization’s socio-economic transformation strategies.

Key Duties

  • Implementation of the Transformation programmes ensuring the programmes are aligned to the organisation’s B-BBEE objectives
  • Advise the beneficiaries and other stakeholders on required deliverables.
  • Ensuring programme policies and guidelines are properly applied and adhered too.
  • Co-ordinating transformation programmes initiatives (i.e., workshops, mentorship programmes, info session, networking sessions etc.)
  • Communicating with relevant programme beneficiaries, mentors and other stakeholders on required deliverables and other general notices and reminders
  • Development and collation of attendance registers, feedback forms, surveys etc.
  • Mailing/printing materials for training sessions, workshops, and info sessions/feedback sessions
  • Collation of the success articles and maintaining a library of the development of the organisation’s Transformation programmes.
  • Admin management – record keeping, minuting, scheduling of workshops, mentoring sessions, board meetings, collation of packs for the board meetings etc.
  • Preparation of required materials for beneficiaries or other stakeholders and ensure all required material is produced in required format within required timelines.
  • Review all material produced and advise appropriate action based upon the quality thereof.
  • Collate all required documentation in relation to the transformation programmes for B-BBEE verification purposes, ensuring that it is the right documents being collated.
  • Understanding and appropriately responding to SMME developmental needs, trends, and requirements
  • Understanding and appropriately responding to skills development needs, trends, and requirements.
  • Researching nationally and or globally for Transformation developmental initiatives/needs to provide input on how to continuously improve performance in this area.

Desired Skills:

  • Relevant degree/diploma –
  • 3 – 5 years in co-ordination and or project management role –
  • Strong project management experience –
  • Strong data analytical skills
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite and strong Excel skills.
