We are looking for Project Manager Business Development to run the Mining and Mineral Resources Competence Centre which aims to be an information, service and networking platform for the mining industry. The incumbent will be responsible for all activities related to the Competence Centre.

Job description

  • Project budgeting, planning and execution
  • Implementation of activities, like seminars, delegations and research
  • Reporting and cost calculation
  • General project administration
  • Project management within the superordinate business development department

Minimum Requirements

  • Fluent in written and spoken German (essential) and English language
  • University qualification in business/ administration/ finance
  • Experience in project management
  • Extensive knowledge of MS-Office programs
  • Highly organized team-player
  • Self-motivated, creative thinking, problem solving
  • Ability to build, maintain and extend industry-specific networks
  • Ability to present to an audience/ extensive communication skills
  • Knowledge of the French language is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the Southern African mining sector is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel in Southern Africa is imperative
