Designated Area: Western Cape, Eastern Cape (PE) and KwaZulu-Natal

The Sales Representative is a field-based role, where the purpose is to create superior customer interaction value by calling on Specialists, General Practitioners and Pharmacies, with the purpose of promoting our products to achieve and exceed business objectives. The Sales Representative enhances the customer experience by identifying critical needs, educating and delivering optimal pharmaceutical-based healthcare solutions to achieve the affiliate’s goals.

  • For this role, the Sales Rep should ideally be based in or around Cape Town, as the bulk of customers are located there, followed by KwaZulu-Natal and then several in Port Elizabeth.
  • Country trips would be to PE every 6 weeks for 1-2 days and to KZN every 6 weeks for 3-4 days.
  • The Rep would predominantly call on Specialists, but there are a few key GP practices and definitely several Pharmacies in the designated area.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant 3 year Tertiary Qualification is required (mandatory).
  • Medical BioSciences/Cellular Pathology, etc. (a preference)

Experience:

  • Preferably a minimum of 2 years’ sales experience in Chronic Diseases (i.e. Immunology, Osteoporosis, Metabolic)
  • A good track record of learning agility for speciality disease areas, with good performance history.

Remuneration: Market related (Negotiable – based on knowledge, experience and profile fit).
