Purpose Statement

  • To imagine, innovate, implement and improve Shared Services capabilities to deliver on Capitec’s Vision, specifically in respect of Finance.
  • To understand and translate the Finance’s business area’s vision and strategy into the future business process model across Capitec Bank (process & capability.
  • Translate business needs (Non Finance) emanating from various projects, ideas or system changes across the organisation (as strategically required) into business model requirements for developing/buying IT systems. Support the development of change management and project plans for implementing the initiatives as well as the associated policies, procedures, and performance measures.

Experience

Minimum:

  • 5-8 years of enterprise wide Financial business model design and operationalisation of new concepts

Ideal:

  • Translating Divisional strategies and regulatory requirements into a Financial business area target operating model
  • Initiation and implementation of projects with the goal to implement the business area’s target operating model and improve business performance
  • Initiate and drive continues improvement
  • Influencing and collaborative leadership

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • A relevant qualification in Finance or Business Analysis

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration

Minimum:

  • Knowledge and skill to conceptually design new Target Operating Model and ability to operationalise ModelFinancial best practices frameworks and processes
  • Financial acumen
  • ERP financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamix)
  • Design of Business Target Operating Models
  • Banking transactional processes
  • Business process mapping methodologies and requirements definition
  • Project Management methodologies
  • Continuous improvement best practices (Lean, 6-Sigma, Theory of constraints)
