We are looking for a SENIOR Front-End Web Developer who can combine the art of design with the art of programming for an established brand.
Your responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with UI/UX designers and Backend Developers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience as a Front-end Developer
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and jQuery
- Advanced knowledge JS libraries and frameworks, ideally AngularJS or VueJS
- Advanced knowledge of SPA’s
- Knowledge of graphics software such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop etc.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- Excellent knowledge of browser troubleshooting and debugging practices and techniques
- A UI/UX designer is expected to deliver finished resources for the developer to incorporate into the app. However, quite often a front-end web developer needs to make adjustments.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
