The Role: One of our major client is looking for a DevOps Engineer who will be able to provide technical support for the end-users, have a good understanding of automated monitoring to achieve various outcomes based on system wide SLAs, as well as having experience with the processes and techniques for logging, monitoring and following up on production incidents to join their team.Essential functions:

  • Good understanding of Java/OpenShift/Kubernetesor any Container Orchestration/AWS
  • Good scripting knowledge with an aim atinfrastructure as code is beneficial
  • Responsible for developing and configuringsystems to deploy, host, monitor and run variousapplications across both cloud and on-premisessolutions
  • Good understanding of delivering pipelined basedautomation for CI/ CD across the SDLC
  • Focus on creation and facilitation to achieveOperations Support, automated end to endmonitoring of services and data checks acrossmultiple applications
  • Experience with the processes and techniques forlogging, monitoring and following up on productionincidents
  • Experience ensuring that Service Level Agreements(SLAs) are known and communicated to the feature
    team and other stakeholders
  • Good understanding of automated monitoring to achieve various outcomes based on system wideSLAs
  • Able to provide technical support for end-users inGermany and World-wide
  • Development of features in collaboration withexternal development partners in Munich.

  • Identify common sources of end-user errors andpropose improvements

Skills and Experience: Essential Qualification:

  • Qualification in IT Business Analysis (Diploma / Degree)

Experience required:

  • 5-8 years?? experience in relevant programming
  • On premise virtualisation technology expertise
  • Experience in testing (manual or automated testing
  • Web and digital project experience advantageous
  • Agile working experience advantageous
