Qualifications required:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification – BSc Degree, BTech (Computing/Information Systems)
  • A+ & N+
  • ITIL training and/or certification

Job description:

  • Excellent technical knowledge of network and PC hardware, Microsoft operating systems and Office 365
  • Monitoring of the data backup system
  • Provide general IT support to all staff
  • Extensive equipment support experience with PCs, telephone and peripheral accessories
  • Installation and support for various software applications
  • Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards
  • Provide remote and on-site desktop and application support
  • Inspect LAN infrastructure and fix minor problems
  • Responding to virus and other security threats to the information system
  • Ensure compliance to operational procedures, including security procedures
  • Knowledge of IT or general asset management
  • Experience in ITIL principles
  • Knowledge of working with IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans
