ENVIRONMENT:DESIGN and deliver innovative customer solutions as the next Technical Architect sought by a leading provider of cutting-edge tech for Data-Driven Operations for an exciting project role. You will have the primary responsibility for the technical viability of a customer solution. The ideal candidate must be D365 Level 2 and above Certified, at least 9 years hands-on experience including as a D365 CE Senior Architect/Consultant, hands-on experience on complex data migrations, know the latest version of the SW, features, capabilities (D365 V9.0+), CRM Dynamics 2013, Power BI, TFS, Visual Studio, Active Directory, SQL Server, TDD, FDD, Migration Strategy, Test Strategy, familiar to MS Delivery methods, Sure Steps 365 framework & able to conduct the solution modelling workshops.Please note this is a 7-Month Contract.DUTIES:
- Business Functional Consulting: A series of business stakeholder targeted, interactive workshops supported by product demos (feature demonstration, scenario walkthroughs or quickly produced prototypes) to jointly define how existing business processes and system functionality should be re[1]delivered using CRM 2016 (365), as identified target platform (V9.0 above).
- Technical Migration Diagnostics: An IT stakeholder, and current IT environment-oriented set of activities to prepare for Upgrade Execution. This activity includes detailed analysis of current CRM organisations, integrations and leveraged integration patterns, reports, data model and data itself, configuration assessment, required customizations/ configurations/code refactoring, etc.
- Upgrade Execution: Based on inputs from business and IT stakeholders, as well as from detailed technical assessment of existing environments, and upgrade (or build) of new environments is performed and 3 solutions are re-delivered, including data migration, system testing, UAT, etc. Functional Consulting (with business stakeholders) and Technical Migration Assessment (with IT stakeholders, and by thorough diagnostics of current CRM organisations) are performed largely in parallel and output of these activities define how the Upgrade Execution will be performed.
- Primary technical contact for discussing with customer on fit/gap and positioning the required ISVs if needed.
- Govern the technical scope of the project with Project Manager.
- Lead project architectural board discussion with customer technical team and partner resources.
- Facilitate the key users training with partner team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- D365 Level 2 and above Certified.
- Business Apps, D365 CE Senior Architect/Consultant Min 9 years hands-on experience.
- Hands-on experience on complex data migrations and familiar.
- Knowledgeable on the latest version of the SW, features, capabilities (D365 V9.0 and above).
- Knowledgeable on CRM Dynamics 2013.
- Knowledgeable on Power BI.
- Have worked for on prem D365 CRM/CE on prem upgrade projects with customized/tailored solutions implementations and data migrations.
- Have worked for D365 localization.
- Ability to lead, guide and manage the local delivery partner consultants according to the product capabilities, features.
- Familiar to MS Delivery methods, Sure Steps 365 framework.
- Ability to conduct the solution modelling workshops.
- Ability of proof reading on the documents (TDD, FDD, Migration Strategy, Test Strategy) and provide guidance to the partner resources.
- Ability to build the accurate delivery plan with partner resources.
- Ability to understand the technical risks for the upgrade and manage the technical scope of the signed contract with customer and partner technical team.
- Technical understanding of dynamics product.
- Expert on DevOps, version control toolings.
- Understand TFS, Visual Studio, Active Directory, SQL Server.
- SQL DB knowledge.
- South African national or residence with work permit/ eligibility to work in National Prosecution Authority projects, able to travel and present on-site at the customer premise located in (Pretoria) for the vetting process and security background check.
ATTRIBUTES:
- Good at communication skills, writing and able to represent D365 CE functional/ technical matters in front of the customer.
