Skills required:
- The ability to quickly identify and remediate networking problems within the LAN, WLAN
- The ability to design/implement/configure/troubleshoot Firewalls, Routers, Switches and APs
- An understanding of Network security including industry best practices.
Vendor Proficiency
- FortiNet (Must be certified NSE4 or higher)
- Cisco (If certified bonus)
- Ubiquity
- HP/Aruba (Must have skills and experience, if they are certified, bonus)
- MUST also be fully Vaccinated (Cov 19) or in the process (had 1 jab to date and due to go for the 2ndone soon)
- Preferably have own car. There might be a case where they need to go to a client, but it will not be the main function. Will be office based.
- Must be hard working, willing to learn and have the right attitude.
- Time keeping on ticketing system is Key very important and part of the Billing. They must be able to capture their hours worked correctly and timeously in order for the Client to Bill for the time that they have worked.
- Must have a valid CCNP or CCNA certificate, if it has expired, ask the candidate if they are willing to re-certify.
- Must have experience with Fortinet and Fortigate (Ask the candidate if they have implemented Fortinet/fortigate files backend of the implementation or if they have only installed it we need them to have done the backend part.
- If they are HP Aruba Certified it is a bonus
- They must have experience with HP Aruba
- Must be well spoken and presented will be going to Clients sometimes but will not be their main function.
- There will be rotational shifts coming to the office during covid period (office is in Lalucia Ridge)
- This is a long term engagement
