KPA’s will be (but not limited to):
- Linux/HP-UX OS Administration
- Installing, Testing and implementation of Linux/HP-UX operating system software
- Upgrading of Linux/HP-UX operating system software to new release levels
- Applying, testing and implementing patches to Linux/HP-UX operating system software
- Monitoring Linux/HP-UX operating systems
- Tuning Linux/HP-UX operating systems
- Troubleshooting of Linux/HP-UX operating systems
Qualifications:
- University degree in Information Technology
- Advanced IT experience (Certificates)
Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ years experience in IT Systems Engineering & Administration
- Working experience in Linux/HP-UX Operating Systems
- Proven experience in overseeing, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
- Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
- Proven experience/understanding of networks, data centers, IT infrastructure and IT Systems
