Job Overview:
- If you’re in the market for a senior position working for one of the globe’s best online gaming organizations, you’ve hit the jackpot, because we’re putting it all on the table for a Senior Developer Level 1 to join our Games Portfolio Protection team. In this role you will be involved in enhancing, protecting, and maintaining the existing portfolio of games by technically driving software development that is motivated by the improvement of the quality and usability of the games. A typical day will involve working and having fun with epic people in a high-performing team analysing, designing and producing quality software and documentation, by adhering to the defined team standards and best practices. You will also be required to mentor and coach junior teams and be involved in driving and delivering fast paced, exciting and complex projects.
Key Requirements:
Education:
- BSc Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Relevant Software Related Qualification
Experience:
- 8 + years in a software development environment
Tech Stack includes and is not limited to the following:
- Javascript
- GIT, SVN or other version control systems
- Html5 and CSS
- C# or C++ experience advantageous
- Agile SCRUM experience
- Teamcity and Octopus exposure advantageous
- RxJS experience advantageou
- Azure experience advantageous
- Automation experience required
- The senior developer will report into the Team Lead of the Portfolio Protection space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Following good development practice and standards on projects with the principle of leaving the code in a better space than when started.
- Analysis, design and development of software for regulatory markets, adding new features and supporting games for the Portfolio, in line with SLAs.
- Performing software integration for new frameworks or containers for taking the Portfolio games to new Operators.
- Code Reviews for work performed by Peers
- Perform repository management.
- Contributing to the improvement of processes within the team
- Contributing to the technical solutions for game improvements or upgrades
- Debugging and resolving issues on the Portfolio games
- Coaching and mentoring more junior members within the team and Portfolio.
- Contributing and helping drive the development guilds within Portfolio.
- Support projects through testing reviewing and fixing defects as necessary
