Windtown Beach Resort and Spa, situated at Langebaan on the West Coast – and part of an international chain of hotel resorts – has installed the RoomMaster 2000 hotel management software and point of sale (POS) solutions from NFS Technology.
A spokesman for Windtown Beach Resort and Spa says the software gives management a “clear view of what’s happening in the business any time of the day.”
“It also gives a lot of structure to all sales so that you can put your focus on other points – such as customer service.”
RoomMaster is linked to the hotel’s Vincard and Ideal stock control system, which is currently accessed by five users. He said there are currently 25 staff members making use of the POS system from NFS Technology.
“As the business grows, the number of users will grow.”
He added that the software – installed recently – is running smoothly and is already “saving time and money”.
“We look forward to installing the software in our hotel and spa in Brazil,” he says.
Nicolette Kruger, software implementer at NFS Technology, says the RoomMaster software allows companies to manage hotel reservations, guest account history, rates, sales and marketing and Internet bookings. She says the software can cater for “large or small hospitality-focused establishments”.
