Schneider Electric, a specialist in energy management, announced its IT Business partner awards at the company’s Middle East-Africa Distributor conference held in Istanbul, Turkey.
The winners were based on sales results achieved in 2012. Taking home three honours were Dimension Data Advanced Infrastructure Johannesburg. The company was awarded as Solutions Partner of the Year, Elite Partner of the Year and Outstanding Performance of the Year. Dimension Data Advanced Infrastructure Cape Town was awarded Overall Outstanding Sales Performance of the Year in-Country.
Best In Country Home and Business Networks Distributor was awarded to South African company Tarsus Technologies, with the company also boasting the Best Product Manager of the Year, Craig Heidemann.
Further South African winners were Mustek and Drive Control Corporation receiving the Distributor of the Year: Small and Medium Business award and the Distributor of the Year: Enterprise and Solutions award respectively.
Another local winner was XON, which can now add Business Development Initiative of the Year to its list of accolades. Value Added Partner of the Year went to Johannesburg based, Diesel Electric Services.
Southern African winners included Angolan company, Stylus Sociedade Comercial, which was awarded as HBN Distributor of the Year and Overall Distributor of the Year. The Against All Odds award went to Zimbabwean-based Mecer IT.
