Jasco has consolidated its Converged Solutions business following the acquisition and integration of ARC Telecoms last year, a converged voice and IP data telecommunications service provider for the small to medium (SME) sector of South Africa.

According to Paven Chetty, managing executive of Jasco Converged Solutions, the company has now consolidated all its Internet Service Provider (ISP) operations and aims to target mid-sized companies with competitive managed service offerings.

“The traditional ISP market is certainly changing with voice and data margins under pressure, driving companies to deliver more value and differentiate themselves.”

Chetty says the Group strategy is to be customer-centric with technology driving what customers require. It is therefore paramount to understand their needs in order to align Jasco Converged Solutions with their ICT strategies.

He says, “Conducting a ‘needs analysis’ is the most important aspect of designing any solution and as such, we have placed key staff in these roles to ensure that the appropriate solution is offered, meeting the client’s exact needs and requirements.”

Jasco Converged Solutions also aims to lead by providing companies with Managed LAN and WAN services combined with our traditional ISP services and solutions.

“With the ever-increasing demand for Cloud Services, we are able to provide customers with recommendations and various options that are tailored to their needs and budget, ensuring they do not have to factor in additional bandwidth that is often required with these services.” adds Chetty.

“The launch of the strategically aligned business unit now provides us with the opportunity to be more innovative and progressive, with our customers,” concludes Chetty.
