MWeb has launched its own mobile data offering, which users can buy directly from the ISP.
“We are excited to announce that from 1 November 2013 we are unveiling a variety of offers to celebrate our entry into the mobile data market,” says Carolyn Holgate, GM of MWeb Connect.
“We have positioned our launch offers as the ‘Real Deal’ because we are bringing consumers great deals with no SIM or connection fees and a choice of month-to month or 12 month contract.”
Customers can sign up for one of many MWeb launch deals including 2Gb of data at R89 per month on a 12 month contract.
“To celebrate our launch the first 1 000 customers to sign-up for this deal will also receive a free modem dongle,” says Holgate.
Another launch offer is that existing MWeb customers can sign up for 2Gb of data for R79 per month on a month-to-month basis.
“We are thrilled to be able to create our own 3G products and bundles according to our customer’s needs with national coverage provided by the Cell C network and with MWeb’s first line support to mobile customers,” adds Holgate.
The offers are valid until 31 January 2014.
