Pinnacle Africa has been appointed as an official distribution partner of Taiwanese ICT manufacturer Asus.

Pinnacle Africa will immediately begin distributing Asus components as well as an array of system products including the vendor’s notebooks, tablets and all-in-ones.

Benji Pienaar, Asus product manager for Pinnacle Africa, says that the company is enthusiastic about bringing Asus products to its resellers.

“Through this partnership, Pinnacle Africa will increase its reach within the local ICT sector while assisting in the growth of Asus’ customer base and brand presence in the southern African marketplace,” he says.

Pinnacle Africa has already received its first stock of Asus components including mother boards and graphics cards, as well as stock of the Asus all-in-ones. Further stock, including notebooks and tablets is expected to arrive during the course of November.

“Asus has grown steadily in South Africa,” says Tim Humphreys-Davies, MD of Pinnacle Africa.

“Pinnacle Africa is focused on continuously expanding our offering in order to meet the ever-evolving needs of our resellers and the ASUS vendor acquisition is a genuine triumph for us,” he says. “Full distribution rights means that we will have access to various benefits and incentives which we can pass down to our customers, increasing market share considerably.”
