On the heels of SAP Africa’s recent announcement of an agreement with the World Bank to consolidate skills development efforts in Africa, SAP Africa Education has further committed to help increase the size of the resource pool of trained SAP professionals in South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria by appointing enterprise training provider ICTWorx as a SAP authorised training partner (ATP) and reseller for the African continent.
Since its inception in 2006, ICTWorx has focused on developing the skills base of leading international technology brands, and today offers immersion instructor-led courses to corporate clients and the channel community. In addition to its solid track record in South Africa, ICTWorx also has regional training hubs in North and West Africa.
“As a training provider and reseller, ICTWorx is able to give graduates and seasoned professionals access to industry software training to enhance their employability in today’s extremely competitive marketplace across various industries,” says Hennie Pienaar, CEO at ICTWorx.
ICT Worx’s training and training kits include SAP overviews and foundation background, The classroom training and eLearning training includes SAP technical, functional and industry specific information as well as SAP Academy courses.

Together with its partners, SAP Africa Education and various educational institutions will continue to collaborate on joint initiative programmes, mentorship support and training opportunities to fulfil the growing demand for SAP skills in Africa.
In the coming months, Pienaar says ICT Worx aims to build closer relationships with its existing customer base and utilise SAP’s channels to engage customers timeously to ensure that their (education projects are successful.
