Internet service provider (ISP) OpenWeb has announced the launch of its range of Priority Capped Unshaped ADSL packages, offering rates as low as R0.98c per Gb.

According to Keoma Wright, founder of OpenWeb, the ISP has noted a shift in the market from Uncapped to Capped over the last few months. “OpenWeb has responded to this shift by launching a range of Capped Unshaped packages that offer incredible value. We have also loaded High Priority on these packages allowing both home users and businesses to benefit from these low prices.”

The packages offer clients data to use anytime as well as an additional cap to use between midnight and 06:00 AM daily. “The two caps are measured separately, ensuring customers the best value possible for their uncapped package,” explains Wright.

The pricing of the current Priority Capped Unshaped ADSL packages range from free to a price of R889 a month and options include: a 2Gb package, which offers 1Gb anytime and 1Gb midnight to 6am for free; a 15Gb package offering 5Gb anytime and 10Gb midnight to 6am for R38; a 45Gb package, which offers 15Gb anytime and 30Gb midnight to 6am for R78; a 150Gb package offering 50Gb anytime and 100Gb midnight to 6am for R185; a 225Gb package offering 75Gb anytime and 150Gb midnight to 6am for R259; a 600Gb package offering 200Gb anytime and 400Gb midnight to 6am for R589; and, finally, a 900Gb package, which offers a full 300Gb anytime and 600Gb midnight to 6am for R889.

The company also offers uncapped ADSL packages for interested home and business clients.

“Finding the right South African internet service provider can be something of a challenge, but we pride ourselves on going above and beyond to offer a variety of plans to meet individual needs, all backed with superior service and an eye towards keeping the rates among the lowest in South Africa,” says Wright.
