Samsung Electronics South Africa has signed up Mobile 1, an enterprise mobility and IT asset management solutions provider, to the Samsung Enterprise Alliance Programme (SEAP). The alliance will see Mobile 1’s mobile workforce management applications installed on Samsung tablets to provide organisations with a whole new level of enterprise mobility and control.
“We are committed to providing high quality, holistic solutions to our customers,” says Paulo Ferreira, director of enterprise mobility at Samsung Electronics SA. “Our partnership with Mobile 1 allows us to deliver on enterprise customer requirements through a product offering that is both seamless and unique. With Mobile 1, we will be providing customers with a powerful tool that can streamline the operations of enterprises and showcase the impressive capabilities of technology today.”
The Samsung Enterprise Alliance Program (SEAP) has the core values of commitment, reliance, quality and opportunity.
Samsung and Mobile 1 offer an integrated approach for enterprise customers, from Samsung tablets or smartphones and business applications, to enhanced security with Samsung KNOX platform. All these elements together provide the essential tools to give businesses real-time data for seamless customer service.
“We are delighted to be partnered with Samsung – they are not only aligned to our customer requirements, they also help us to take our customer experience to the next level,” says Brad Fraser, MD of Mobile 1. “The SEAP provides us with a great opportunity to further enhance our product suite and craft solutions that meet the needs of a diverse and dynamic client base. This is a symbiotic relationship that makes us very excited about the future.”
The Mobile 1 IT asset management and mobile device management product offerings streamline and automate workflows, reducing the impact of human error and drastically limiting downtime. The workforce tracking system records each step of the workflow process, with geo-location and time stamps to ensure that systems and tasks are uninterrupted right up to the customer signing on the screen. Implementation on Samsung mobile devices will see deeper penetration into the enterprise space for Mobile 1 while allowing Samsung to provide a vibrant ecosystem to enterprise customers.
“The Samsung Enterprise Alliance Program was developed to allow our partners to build better, more customised solutions and to become true partners in our go-to-market strategy,” says Ferreira. “Our strategic partnerships mean we can offer our customers a broader spectrum of mobility offerings, while giving partners the chance to grow and continue their product investment.”
