A new colour multifunction printer (MFP) from Xerox, the WorkCentre 6655 provides a powerful mix of innovative features and capabilities that give small and medium businesses access to the same solutions typically reserved for larger enterprises.
Built around the Xerox ConnectKey Controller, it optimises office efficiency by automating everything from routine tasks to more complex workflows. With print, copy, scan and fax features combined in one efficient package, it features innovative tools that simplify the way you manage printing and enable more ways to keep costs in check.
With ConnectKey, Xerox is the first company to offer McAfee whitelisting technology for multifunction printers, helping businesses to stay ahead of data breaches and other security threats, ensuring that only authorised users have access to the device.
“Users can easily print documents from their desktop, mobile device, web URL, USB memory device or cloud,” says Ernest Leong, OPB product manager in the Xerox division at Bytes Document Solutions. “They can easily distribute documents by fax or scanning to e-mail, PC, or the cloud with the WorkCentre 6655.”
With 1200 x 600 dpi print resolution, the new Xerox WorkCentre 6655 Colour MFP produces vibrant, attention-grabbing colour images and clearly defined text with print speeds up to 36 pages per minute and output as fast as 11 seconds. The device also has a 700 standard/1,250 maximum sheet paper capacity.
The device also features customisable solutions, and Xerox Extensible Interface Platform allows for the creation of applications without the need for additional IT support. In addition, the device provides less user intervention and more uptime.
The WorkCentre 6655 provides exciting capabilities previously found only in more expensive multifunction printers helping businesses exceed expectations.
