Huawei B315 LTE WiFi router available in SA

With so much of our daily lives being spent on multiple smart devices – both for work and leisure – reliable, fast connectivity has become more important than before.
“People want great connectivity for their devices, not only at the office, but at home too,” says Heinrich Pretorius, Huawei product specialist at Drive Control Corporation (DCC). “And that’s where the new Huawei B315 LTE WiFi router shines.”
“Perfect for both home and small office use, the B315 offers broadband connectivity for up to 32 devices with fast LTE CAT4 connections of up to 150Mbps. Why is it perfect for home and small office use? It offers strong 250-metre WiFi coverage and eliminates dead corners so signal is reliable everywhere in the building, which means that users will no longer have to congregate close to the router in order to be able to pick up WiFi signal. It is also extremely versatile. If you don’t have an ADSL line on the property, or you require an alternative device to cover ADSL outages, the B315 is the perfect device as it lets you connect using prepaid 4G SIM cards,” Pretorius adds.
This device versatility also extends to a USB 2.0 port for hard drive disks, flash drives, network storage devices and printers, which puts the B315 at the heart of any home or office network, delivering convenient wireless printing, media streaming, data back up and more. In addition to offering a Wi-Fi solution in a location where there is no ADSL line, the B315 is easy to use and manage with a nifty web interface.  The user also has total control over system upgrades with the Huawei B315 and, even once an upgrade has been successfully performed, rolling back to a previous software version is possible.
With download speeds of up to 150Mbps and upload speeds of 50Mbps, the Huawei B315 makes use of an LTE Router Communication System that connects to 4G/LTE data network on the 800/900/1800/2100/2600Mhz bandwidth frequencies, offering the same fast browsing experience users are accustomed to on the LTE network, using their smart devices. The B315 can also (where 4G/LTE is not available in an area) utilise the 4G/3GHSPA/UMTS networks at 2100/900MHz, as well as the DC-HSPA and HSUPA networks.
“This makes the B315 ideal for use anywhere there is mobile data coverage. The B315 is undoubtedly the perfect solution for creating a home or small office Wi-Fi network, almost anywhere in South Africa,” Pretorius concludes.
The Huawei B315 LTE Wi-Fi Router is now available through selected retail outlets, resellers as well as mobile network providers.
