Lorge celebrates three decades

2016 is a significant year for Lorge, marking 30 years in the business and still going strong.
Brothers, Mike and Tony Lorge, who saw a need for business and accounting software solutions, founded the company in 1986. Over the years, the company has grown at a steady pace and now employs a strong team of 50 full-time staff. It has earned its status as a reputable supplier and implementer of Sage 300, Sage X3, Sage X3 People and Sage CRM Solutions with over 10 000 users.
Jurgens Snyman, CEO of Lorge, comments: “Our continued success and survival has enabled Lorge to create a culture whereby excellence and innovation is encouraged and rewarded. We pride ourselves in having a family culture, where everyone believes in the values of integrity and a commitment to deliver the best services and solutions to clients. We also value the long-term relationships we have with our clients and continuously work to ensure these partnerships will be fortified into the future.”
The company has been a Sage Premier Solution Provider for 21 years, winning a number of awards throughout its 30 years of existence; with some of the most recent including ‘Sage Best Performance Gauteng Award 2015’ and the ‘Pacific Technologies Solutions South African Dealer of the year 2015′. In addition, it provides services in project management, systems implementation, application modifications, system support and maintenance, training and infrastructure.
“These awards are testimony to Lorge’s exceptional level and depth of skills, as well as in-depth expertise we maintain. We are proud of this recognition and achievement,” says Snyman.
Training and skills development are one of the company’s top priorities, in order to ensure that its staff members are knowledgeable and informed about the latest technology, which is how it obtained level 1 B-BBEE contributor status.
“We appreciate the challenges that come with being in a constantly changing industry and have all the skills required in-house – be it, business process analysis, project management, software development, business intelligence or infrastructure support – to ensure our clients’ expectations are not only met, but exceeded,” Snyman adds.
“Our reputation for outstanding services in business and financial software implementation and support took a significant amount of time and effort to develop. This is why we do not take it for granted.
“We are grateful to have reached this significant milestone, marking 30 years of market leadership as a supplier and implementer of Sage products. Without the loyal support of our customers, and of course our valued employees – many of whom have been with us from the beginning, this current level of growth and success would never have been possible,” concludes Snyman.
