Technology services company Netsurit and niche professional services consultancy Inobits have concluded a deal, with the two companies merging under the Netsurit banner. Their combined skills sets create a business poised to quickly capture new market share, enabling Netsurit to provide a balanced, end-to-end service for their clients.
Inobits was established in 1999 as a specialised Microsoft consulting and training house. Today, it services enterprise and corporate customers, providing high-value professional services focused on Microsoft products and technologies.
Netsurit, launched in 1998, has been ranked as one of the world’s top 100 Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for the last six years, and offers managed services and outsourcing to clients.
“Initially, we wanted to grow our customer base by seeking out a partnership with a company that had complementary skills and competencies, but it was clear that a merger would make more sense,” says Hud Krause, founder and MD of Inobits. “Netsurit has expertise in managed services and outsourcing, while we are a high-end Microsoft consulting and development house. Integrating our two businesses combines pipeline, operational and financial synergies, and will pave the way for us to gain greater market share.”
With customer demand for Microsoft’s cloud products booming, Netsurit will be leveraging Inobits’ Microsoft skills to sell and deploy cloud solutions, and capitalise on the growing demand for infrastructure and software as a service (SaaS) solutions.
“Inobits’ experience and technical ability in the Microsoft space is among the best in the country,” says Brian Cooper, COO, Netsurit. “Integrating that level of technology leadership into our business will give Netsurit a more pioneering edge and will be beneficial for our clients. At the same time, Inobits’ clients will have the benefit of our expertise in managed services provision.”
Netsurit is known for its Dreams of the Doers programme, which provides a platform for its employees to nurture and realise their dreams. Cooper says this culture will be protected and encouraged as the company grows.
“The merger brings together two entrepreneurial organisations, and we aim to protect that agile way of thinking. The idea is to leverage different yet complementary skills to grow the client base without becoming corporatized or too bureaucratic. The fit between our two cultures is remarkable because our skills are distinctly different, but our approach to creating a happy and creative workplace are analogous.”
The merger represents an excellent opportunity for growth for Netsurit employees, who will gain exposure to new technologies, a team of subject matter experts, and a new set of clients, Cooper adds.
“The Inobits team has brought into the organisation a whole new opportunity for learning and growth, which we believe will have an invigorating influence on our existing culture, and enable a deeper level of innovation for our customers,” he says. “Netsurit’s value proposition to clients is built on three pillars: IT without fuss, improving business performance, and providing appropriate IT strategy and innovation. We have taken a bold step to ensure we continue to deliver on this promise in a technology environment that is constantly evolving.”
The new management structure combines leadership from both companies in order to minimise integration risk.
