Pinnacle Holdings has increased its shareholding in Datacentrix to 55,3% of the company, and appointed Henry Ferreira as a non-executive director of the value-added reseller (VAR).
Ferreira is responsible for the new emerging technology businesses and systems integration businesses within the Pinnacle Group.
He has held various positions within the Pinnacle Group. Prior to joining Pinnacle he was country GM for Lenovo Africa, having held senior positions with Microsoft Southern Africa, Nokia Networks, Unisys Africa and HP UK and Ireland. Before that, he was country GM of HP SA and MD of Compaq Africa.
Meanwhile, Nolitha Fakude has stepped down from her role as independent non-executive chairperson of Datacentrix to assume the role of lead independent director.
Non-executive director Arnold Fourie has assumed the role of non-executive chairman, while Richard Lyon has stepped down from his role as a non-executive director to assume the role of alternate director to Fourie.
