South African software distributor Dax Data has partnered with UK based software company Micro Focus to bridge the gap between old and new technologies in order to meet increasing business demands.
Micro Focus’ channel manager Connie Butow believes that Dax Data is an ideal channel partner, and says: “Dax Data’s focused approach and personal touch is a big differentiator and we are confident that they will form an integrated part of the Micro Focus business development team. We are looking forward to building this relationship and bringing key Micro Focus solutions to market with Dax Data.”
Working across sub-Saharan Africa the company has built a unique value proposition for its resellers based on a service ethos, knowledge transfer and partnership. Over the years Dax Data has continued to develop their portfolio representing a range of software vendors including Adobe, Microsoft, AppRiver, and now Micro Focus.
“With this partnership Dax Data is able to bring key Micro Focus solutions to African markets, delivering solutions for collaboration, productivity, compliance, security, file management and endpoint management”, says Jeremy Matthews, CEO of Dax Data.
Micro Focus, now incorporating Attachmate, NetIQ and Novell is a global organisation with over 40 years of experience supporting enterprise solutions. In a constantly changing world, Micro Focus aims to provide software solutions that enable their clients to leverage new technologies in order to keep up with increasingly complex business demands. Micro Focus understands the importance of bringing together existing business infrastructure with new technologies, in order to embrace opportunities.
“Through this partnership Dax Data is able to help South African businesses take advantage of new trends and technologies. Micro Focus products such as PlateSpin and Filr facilitate the adoption of key trends such as the move to Virtualisation and the Cloud,” says Matthews.
