Game Arena will be hosting a local Pubstomp in Boksburg, Johannesburg at the Cyber Ville this weekend from 12 to 14 August, where viewers can watch all the games, enjoy the company of fans, and the atmosphere which could be comparable to the Seattle Key Arena.
A Pubstomp is synonymously an “easy game,” but in the world of spectator eSports it’s a venue where gamers gather to watch a live stream of a major event, such as the Dota 2 International.
Game Arena has also added a host of activities including a Dota 2 one versus one competition as well as the chance to experience the new Dota VR Client on a HTC VIVE, powered by a monstrous ASUS VR PC that includes 2 x STRIX GTX 1080’s as well as an ROG Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard.. Themed food and drinks will be available to further extend the Dota 2 atmosphere.
Tickets will be on sale at the door, where general admission will cost you R15 for the day, VIP ticket will cost you R140 (R220 for both days) and VVIP will cost R280 for both days, and includes two free meals.
