CA Technologies has been named a Leader in the “The Forrester Wave: Application Performance Management, Q3 2016”, scoring the highest rating possible in the sub-criteria of off-premises infrastructure monitoring, microservices/containers monitoring, vision: BT and technology partner ecosystem.
The company was among a select group of 14 application performance management (APM) vendors invited to participate and evaluated across 28 criteria.
In the report, Forrester analysts state, “CA Technologies’ APM solution stands out with its customer experience capabilities, managing real-user transactions via JavaScript injection, SDK and deep packet analysis, ability to manage microservices and containers, and strength in its analytics engine to ingest a variety of sources.”
Solutions evaluated for this report include CA APM, CA Mobile App Analytics, CA App Synthetic Monitor, CA Application Delivery Analysis and CA Unified Infrastructure Management. The report also notes, “Since Forrester began this evaluation, CA Technologies has released App Experience Analytics, which has an increased focus on driving business outcomes and prescriptive analytics.
“To stand out from the competition in today’s application economy, digital businesses are embracing the rapid-release benefits of DevOps,” says Jaco Greyling, CA Southern Africa, DevOps manager. “Realising the benefits of DevOps can be challenging both to the infrastructure and operations teams responsible for ensuring the performance of the applications.
“We believe our position as a leader in the Forrester Wave report validates why customers turn to us for solutions that allow them to visualize and manage how their applications, websites, mobile applications, services and underlying technology affect the quality of their customers’ interactions with their brand.”
