Fujitsu has been recognized for its PRIMEFLEX portfolio in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Integrated Systems, authored by Andrew Butler and others, published on 10 October 2016.
This Gartner Magic Quadrant assesses 19 providers of Integrated Systems for their completeness of vision and ability to execute, and positions Fujitsu as a challenger.
Fujitsu’s vision for its PRIMEFLEX Integrated Systems is to enable IT organizations to be more responsive and agile in meeting the needs of their end-users, through providing new levels of simplicity in the data center around five key areas: Virtualization, Private Cloud, Big Data, High Performance Computing (HPC) and SAP.
The PRIMEFLEX line-up consists of fully pre-defined, pre-integrated and pre-tested systems, designed for a variety of specific needs. Every PRIMEFLEX system combines servers, storage, network connectivity and software, helping organizations to dramatically reduce the complexity and cost of building and operating data center infrastructures. PRIMEFLEX solutions are available either ready-to-run or as easily customizable reference architectures, depending on the customer’s requirements.
Michael Keegan, Head of Fujitsu’s Product business in the EMEIA region, says: “We believe that Gartner recognizes how Fujitsu’s deep experience has translated into our updated PRIMEFLEX solution portfolio, backed by the strong end-to-end services that add value throughout all lifecycle phases for all our data center technologies. For customers that need to stay one step ahead of increasingly complex computing demands, PRIMEFLEX is the ideal solution.”
