Ricoh will showcase its expertise and innovation in the production printing space at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2017 from February 20 to 23.
Ricoh will present its continuous feed and cutsheet production presses as well as recent additions to its growing software solutions portfolio at the biennial show.
“We’ll have the Pro VC60000 on display as well as roll-to-roll and roll-to-cut finishing with dynamic perforation enabled by Hunkeler systems,” says Vaughan Patterson, product marketing operations manager for Production Print at Ricoh SA. “We’ll also have the Pro C9100 colour cutsheet digital press and a broad range of pre-printed and samples we produce at the show. I think one of the highlight examples will be the Elwin Street perfect bound books made for the Speed of Light photography exhibition.”
Ricoh will also display a variety of posters, postcards, loyalty cards, statements, direct mail applications featuring three different duplex A4 pieces output to different devices.
Ricoh’s will also display its Digital Book Printing Solution, which is designed to manage the challenges of on-demand book printing, w
ith TotalFlow BatchBuilder and an integrated workflow for a direct mail application. The automated configuration of imposition and setup of inline finishing using Ricoh ProcessDirector 3.5 will be among the demonstrations.”We show our digital continuous feed and cutsheet systems side-by-side to demonstrate how easily we can switch workflows to make maximum use of efficient production and produce consistent colour regardless of the device,” says Patterson. “The workflow solutions, Ricoh’s extensive R&D, and the global service team of which we’re a part mean our customers can see they’re getting the latest technologies, catering to modern trends in production printing, to meet their current and evolving market-dependent needs.”
