HP has announced the appointment of Craig Paul as HP Storage business unit and sales manager for the Enterprise Group in South Africa, with immediate effect.
Paul has been acting in this role since early this year, and under his leadership the team has shown very strong results during FY12 – and beaten the budget target for the year.
“Craig’s appointment is a good example of one of our talented people who has stepped up and gone the extra mile to deliver better results for HP,” says Frank van Rees, MD and Enterprise Group Lead for HP South Africa.
“I am very happy that we can further develop our own talents into their career growth within HP. We wish Craig all the best in his new role,” he adds.
Paul began his HP career in HP Services (HiPerformance Systems) as a desktop support engineer in 1996. He moved to Compaq in 1999 as a server support engineer.
He transitioned to a Storage technical consultant in 2004, and moved to a StorageWorks pre-sales position in 2008. He acted as Storage BU and sales manager in 2009 for a year and continued as the Storage category manager until January 2012.
Paul is a member of the Enterprise Group management team and will report directly to Van Rees.
