SAP Business One software specialist 4most, has won a R207 000 contract to supply, install and commission a SAP Business One ERP software and technology solution for The Butcher Shop, a Gaborone headquartered supplier of meat products with 13 wholesale and retail outlets in main centres throughout the country.
The Butcher Shop has a cold storage, cutting and de-boning plant as well as a processed meat plant at Gaborone’s G-West Industrial Estate.
“The business objective is to install an ERP solution that will run and manage the entire company. The SAP solution we will deliver is designed to create good production workflow with alerts directed automatically to appropriate personnel, keeping them informed at all times,” says 4most director, Quinn Verburgt.
Streamlining the production process and the provision of realtime up-to-date stock statistics and information is a major requirement for The Butcher Shop and SAP Business One, specifically designed for SMEs, will do just that.
4most expects to complete the implementation and have the solution fully configured and live during  March.
The company has implemented more that 3 000 SAP Business One users across numerous industries and has supplied services to more than 150 companies, including the implementation, customised software development, application modifications, support and maintenance of SAP Business One accounting and ERP software systems.
“Our major goal is to deliver tailor-made, innovative solutions that give a competitive advantage to businesses across a wide range of commerce and industry,” says Verburgt.
