SybaWeb, a South African-based IT company with offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban, has ranked 498 in the MSPmentor (managed service provider) 2013 rankings.
“We are thrilled to have received such an outstanding accolade which is a great reflection on the company and all the hard work our team has put in to growing the business in South Africa and improving our service and product offerings to small and medium enterprises,” says SybaWeb’s CEO, Andreas Nel.
“MSPmentor congratulates SybaWeb on this honour,” says Amy Katz, president of Nine Lives Media, a division of Penton Media who produces the MSPmentor 501 Global Edition.
“Qualifying for our MSPmentor 501 Global Edition puts SybaWeb in rare company.”
The report is based on data from MSPmentor’s global online survey conducted from October to December 2012, and the final rankings are based on a range of criteria rather than one business metric.
The MSPmentor 501 report recognises top managed service providers based on a range of metrics, including annual managed services revenue growth, revenue per employee, managed services offered and customer devices managed.
MSPs on this year’s global 501 list lifted their combined annual recurring revenues 24,5% to $2,54-billion. According to Joe Panettieri, editorial director at Nine Lives Media, together those MSPs now manage more than 5,6-million PCs and servers, and nearly 400 000 smartphones and tablets.
