MTN SA has announced an aggressive reduction on its Internet price plans and bundle rates on the MTN network.
“The digital age continues to create real opportunities for consumers to connect, interact and simplify their lives directly from their handheld devices,” says Serame Taukobong, chief marketing officer at MTN SA.
“Having invested heavily on our infrastructure to provide a network that can efficiently meet the demands of the digital consumer, we have significantly reduced our Internet price plans and bundle rates to enable our customers to experience world-class Internet connectivity.
“A customer can now pay R79 for the MTN 1Gb package which, has been reduced from R289 (with a device) per month. A SIM-only contract without a device is even more affordable at R69 per month or 5 cents per megabyte for those customers looking to upgrade with their own device,” he adds.
With the new prepaid Internet bundle rates, MTN customers will enjoy the following benefits:
* Prepaid customers will receive 10Mb free when they purchase a 10Mb Internet bundle for R10;
* Customers will enjoy a further 25Mb of Internet connectivity free of charge when they purchase a 75Mb Internet bundle for R29, reduced by R20 from the previous R49 rate;
